How we grade peptide evidence

Why one overall peptide score can hide important differences between human evidence, safety signals, legal status, and product quality.

Short answer

Peptides.Media does not use one score to imply that a peptide is safe, legal, effective, and high quality. A peptide can look plausible in one area and still have weak human evidence, regulatory problems, or product-quality risks.

Separate dimensions, not one hype score

The scorecard separates efficacy, safety, regulatory risk, and product-quality risk. A peptide can have a plausible mechanism while still having weak human evidence or serious regulatory concerns.

Why human evidence gets its own label

Mechanism, animal studies, and anecdotes are not interchangeable with controlled human outcomes. Human evidence should match the claim: wound healing, weight loss, cognition, route, and dose are not interchangeable.

Why risk scores can be high on plausible topics

Regulatory risk asks whether the product and claim are allowed. Product-quality risk asks whether the marketed product is what it says it is. Neither proves or disproves the biology.
